Katie and Bridget get real emo as they re-watch the cult classic: Donnie Darko! It's a movie all about time travel, wormholes, science vs. religion, and how being a white teen boy SUCKS! IT'S JUST THE HARDEST THING EVER! Come along as we meet Donnie, an emotastic guy who maybe should have just given back the red scarf and we could have avoided this whole mess! He avoids death via airplane engine which at first seems great, until he then meets a creepy bunny named Frank - no relation to Greg the Bunny. Frank encourages Donnie to do some crazy things all while Donnie continues to have therapy with the worst therapist ever AND get a new girlfriend ala a Love Actually meet-cute. Will Donnie be able to figure out time travel and set things right in the world again? ... In Katie's opinion, NO. But according to the screenwriter, sure. Released in 2001, it stars a cast of characters including Jake Gyllenhaal, Jena Malone, Maggie Gyllenhaal, Patrick Swayze, Drew Barrymore, and his first movie ever Seth Rogen.
