Blank Check

Katie and Bridget question financial decisions being made as they re-watch the movie: Blank Check! Come along as we meet Preston, an 11 year old boy who has no money, no job (lol), and no friends - as we're all incessantly reminded throughout the movie. But Preston does have one thing going for him: a vision board! When he is given a blank check by an escaped convict that nobody's looking for, he gets 1 million dollars and spends it all in 6 days. Somehow his family has no questions! Nor do the police! Including a grown woman named Shay Stanley who literally works at the bank undercover and doesn't see anything weird about all this! It just makes sense! We've got 90's kid antics, boomer-esq money language (BARF), and never ending questions in this Richie Rich wanna be movie. Released in 1994, it stars Brian Bonsall, Karen Duffy, James Rebhorn, Miguel Ferrer, Rick Ducommun, and Tone Loc.
