Come along as we meet Greg Heffley, a possible future Patrick Bateman, who enters into middle school with a dream of becoming popular. He's got a best friend named Rowley Jefferson who actually IS the coolest kid in school because of how pure he is, but Greg is a jealous jerk and tries to change him. When they experience a friend break up, Greg has to try and survive middle school shenanigans on his own while also dealing with aggressive gym teachers, a pranking older brother, and getting beat up by women during wrestling - EVER HEAR OF TITLE IX!?
