Katie and special guest Jahleel(!) audition at a Performing Arts High School as they re-watch the 80's hit: Fame! #We'reGonnaLiveForever! Come along as we follow high school students as they journey through auditioning into their school and then surviving the next four years. And we do mean SURVIVING, as we encounter lots of real world hardships such as: drug abuse, rejections, death, grief, identity issues, jealously, coming out, abortion, racism, classism, sexual abuse... The list really does just go on and on - so much so that this high school might as well be called Degrassi! But there's also dance! And music! And acting! And honestly, the talent in this film is out of control! This movie may be called Fame, but it sure shows how rocky the road can be to get there. Released in 1980, it was written by Christopher Gore, directed by Alan Parker, and stars Irene Cara, Lee Curreri, Boyd Gaines, Paul McCrane, Laura Dean, Barry Miller, Maureen Teefy, and Gene Anthony Ray.
